Arcadis awarded digital asset management contract for Calgary

CALGARY, ALTA. — Arcadis recently announced it has been awarded a multiyear contract with the City of Calgary to advance the management of the city’s infrastructure portfolio through its(EDA) software.

The software will be used over a two-year term for various asset types such as transportation networks, water and wastewater systems, emergency services, public parks and civic buildings, “enabling the city to have comprehensive oversight within a single integrated digital system,” a release reads.

EDA consolidates data across departments and applies advanced analytics that help prioritize urgent repairs and identify investment opportunities.

It can also predict and prevent infrastructure failures, like potholes and watermain breaks as well as streamline planning, reporting and regulatory compliance processes.

The initial two-year term of the agreement has the potential to be extended up to 12 years.
